If you’ve been wondering why the world seems a little (actually a LOT) upside-down for the past 5-6 years or so… it’s no coincidence. Scripture says that we are to “look for His return” and be READY when we see the signs. Political governments in complete turmoil in nearly every nation, wars and rumors of wars, prices rising out of control in many nations, and people around the world are on the “move” (literally) looking for solutions to the mounting problems in their country.
Take America, for example: did you ever think there would come a time when so many would start to think they had to move outside the U.S. to give their family a BETTER LIFE?? That thought would have seemed absurd just 10 years ago. According to WSJ, America lost over 150,000 people just in 2025. That’s a negative migration trend not seen since the Great Depression!
In 1 Thessalonians 5:1-8, Paul says: “Now concerning the times and seasons brothers and sisters…you yourselves know that the Day of the Lord comes like a thief in the night. When THEY are saying, “Peace and Safety” sudden destruction comes on THEM like a woman having birth pains—there is no way THEY will escape. BUT YOU, brothers and sisters, are NOT IN THE DARK, so that the Day might overtake you like a thief. For YOU are sons of the light and of the day. WE are not of the NIGHT or of the DARKNESS—SO LET US NOT SLEEP AS OTHERS DO, BUT REMAIN ALERT AND SOBER-MINDED. For those who sleep, sleep at night and those who get drunk (Note: this refers to Old Testament scriptures) get drunk at night. BUT SINCE WE ARE OF THE DAY (as sons of light) let us be sober-minded—putting on the breastplate of faithfulness, love, and the hope of salvation through our Lord Christ Jesus….therefore encourage each other and build each other up—just as you are in fact doing.” — Hallelujah!!
You see, the Lord was never saying we will not be able to know the times are nearing the end of “this age.”
THE NEW AMERICAN DREAM
IS TO NO LONGER LIVE THERE
He never said, “ignore the signs and keep living your ‘best life now’ (from the world’s perspective). He said, keep WATCH therefore, so you will not be deceived. job, as Christians, is to NOT let the enemy deceive us. But instead, to be spiritually discerning, and dig even deeper into our real faith. It’s not called a spiritual battle for nothing!
We must take everything before the Lord, who WILL guide us and protect us, IF we follow His promptings through the Holy Spirit. This is NOT business as usual. The times we are in right now … yes, THIS DECADE ... are very important times in our world’s history. It’s time to armor-up, my friends! Spiritual armor that is. As we see darkness start increasing, it is VITAL that the LIGHT of the Word of God is seen in us.
Gone are the days of passive christianity. It’s time to RISE UP and take back what the enemy has stolen.
