The Descent at Mt. Hermon & the Geography of the Rebellion
Today we are setting the record straight! There’s a great scripture in Hosea 4:6 that says: "My people perish for lack of knowledge” At that time it referred to the spiritual ruin that befell the Israelites when they willfully ignored God’s teachings. (not smart, right?) Today it describes how much we have been hoodwinked by the busyness of our own lives and the endless digital noise that drowns out our spiritual clarity. That ends today.
For the next month, I am going to show you exactly how we got here, and what we MUST do about it. If we are going to turn this society around, morally, intellectually, and economically, we must endeavor to know WHO God is, who we are, and why there seems to be an invisible enemy that is upending the script. Let’s dive in!
Modern historical and scientific paradigms have falsely conditioned us to believe that human civilization evolved through an agonizingly slow, linear progression over vast stretches of time—moving organically from primitive tools to complex societies. The ancient records, however, tell a far more sudden and disruptive story! This civilizational spark did not emerge from a slow evolutionary climb, but from a rapid, localized rupture upon the snow-capped peaks of Mount Hermon. Long before the cornerstones of post-diluvian empires were laid in place, the cosmic boundary between heaven and earth was forever shattered.
Two hundred celestial beings, known as the Watchers, looked down at the earth and made a fateful, irreversible pact. They swore an oath to each other that they would descend into the material realm God had created for mankind, defy the laws of heaven and earth, and steal the glory for themselves that was meant only for the One True God.
What followed was not just a moral fall, but a calculated, global restructuring of human civilization. God had sent the Watchers to earth to teach them justice and how to obey the Lord, ( see book of Jubilees 4:15 ) but instead of staying true to their mission, The book of Enoch 7:2 says it this way: The sons of heaven beheld them, they became enamored with the beautiful women, saying to each other: Come let us select for ourselves women from the progeny of men, and let us beget children.” They left their posts, and decided to be like mankind, by having children of their own! By mixing divine ( immortal ) essence with mortal DNA, these fallen entities engineered a larger-than-life ruler class, introduced forbidden knowledge and technologies, and successfully hijacked the hearts and minds of mankind.
This cosmic treason occurred at a crucial junction on the biblical timeline: the pre-Flood era of the ancient world. Human beings were already flourishing, multiplying, and expanding across the earth. Scripture says this occured during the days of Jared. The name Jared itself reflects this pivotal moment, deriving from the Hebrew verb yarad, meaning "to descend." It was during Jared’s 800-year lifespan—roughly halfway between Adam and the Great Flood—that the celestial defection struck. As recorded in Genesis 6:1-2, "when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and daughters were born unto them, the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose." This canonical account directly intersects with the detailed chronicles of 1 Enoch 6:1-2, pinning this event to a specific historical era when humanity was already culturally established, yet vulnerable to external immortal interference. By demanding a physical presence in a domain that was not theirs, the Watchers initiated a network of forbidden alliances that forged a dark covenant between the fallen celestial host and the daughters of men.

This was no ordinary migration; it was a structural coup against the blueprint of creation. By crossing the threshold from the spiritual to the material, the Watchers did not seek to elevate humanity, as God intended, but instead, to entrench themselves and their progeny as absolute rulers of an already thriving physical world. The summit of Hermon, towering over the Levant, served as the literal and symbolic high point from which this artificial acceleration of human culture would spread.
Now before you let human emotion and empathy sneak in for the cause of these fallen angels- understand this: When one breaches the firewalls God has put in place — BAD THINGS HAPPEN, and indeed they did. Any good geneticist could tell you, when you mix one species with another, there’s no telling what you will get! Take a look at how the detailed accounts found in the Dead Sea Scrolls fragments of the Book of Giants reads:

The Blueprint of the Nephilim: Three Elite Breeds
The Watchers did not just produce generic monsters. The product of these illegitimate “marriages” were fearsome, huge, and often grotesque. Ancient fragments from the Dead Sea Scrolls and the Book of Giants suggest a highly organized, tiered system of genetic manipulation. In today’s scientific world, they would be called chimeras- a blending of species. They engineered three distinct elite breeds designed to dominate, rule, and terrorize the known world:

The Nephilim (The Colossi, or Gigantes ): These were the first generations. These were the true giants, mighty men of renown … possessing mountain-like stature, terrifying physical strength, and blood-thirsty voracious appetites. They quickly became the supreme warlords, devouring the earth’s natural resources and establishing the earliest totalitarian empires. The Epic of Gilgamesh, the first epic narrative ever written, in about 2100 BC, bears witness. Many fragments of the Dead Sea Scrolls, found in the Qumran caves, also give plenty of references, describing them in detail.
The Elioud (The Dynastic Sages): These came several generations later. The cunning, highly intelligent offspring of the giants and their human wives. While smaller in stature than their massive fathers, the Elioud possessed sharp, supernatural intellects. They became the kings, high priests, and sorcerer-bureaucrats who ran the ancient administrative centers of Mesopotamia, Egypt, and the Mediterranean. Think about how MASSIVE the structures around the near east were then. We still have a hard time grappling with the sheer IMMENSE scale of these statues and building. The builders weren’t investing in myth. These beings were the rulers and built temples to themselves!
The Chimera Hybrids (The Beast-Men): The ultimate breach of creation. As recorded in 1 Enoch 7:5, the Watchers began to "sin against birds, beasts, reptiles, and fish." ( EWWWW! ) They spliced human, animal, and angelic traits together, giving rise to the half-human, half-animal entities immortalized in ancient pagan artwork. Many generations later, the oral stories of the bird-headed sages, the fish-cloaked lords, and the chimeras were explained away as “myth”.
From this apex, these defectors of heaven made a pact to inject a highly sophisticated curriculum of forbidden knowledge into the human knowledge base—a curriculum explicitly engineered to bypass natural human development, sever man's connection to the Almighty, and redirect the focus of worship entirely toward the self ( for survival ) and furthermore, them as the literal ‘gods’ of this world.
The Geography of Rebellion and Forbidden Alliances
From the staging ground of Mount Hermon, the rebellion quickly expanded past a localized angelic encampment into a systemic, biological occupation of the earth. The rebellion was fundamentally anchored in the violation of divine boundaries. It targeted the most sacred construct of the physical order: the human lineage and ability to live peaceably and abundantly on the land, and thank the Lord, their Creator.
As it is in most marriages, much is shared between husband and wife. Not only did those fallen from the heavenly realm breach the original firewall God had laid in place, they began to teach forbidden knowledge to mankind. It brings back to mind when the serpent told Eve in the Garden, “And you will be like God — knowing good and evil.”
The Bait of Forbidden Knowledge
To secure their dominion, the Watchers did not rely solely on physical terror. They used weaponized enlightenment.
Before the descent on Mount Hermon, humanity lived in relative simplicity. Patriarchs of the families were the leaders of their clans, and much attention was given to teaching the future generations the moral laws of God. The Watchers forever altered the course of human history by introducing advanced, forbidden celestial arts. They traded powerful but evil secrets for absolute loyalty:
Azazel taught the art of metallurgy—showing men how to forge swords, knives, and shields, effectively inventing warfare, while teaching women cosmetics and jewelry-making to fuel vanity and seduction.
Semjaza introduced sorcery, root-cutting, and the binding of spells.
Baraqijal and Kokabel unveiled astrology, the signs of the zodiac, and the secret movements of the constellations.
This was not a benevolent education. It was a calculated dependency. By providing technologies that accelerated warfare, agriculture, and seduction, the Watchers made themselves indispensable to human survival.
Ignorant to how much these practices angered God, these “devices” systematically destroyed lives and families, and the web of moral corruption was spun around mankind, making it nearly impossible to overcome. Instead of keeping the dominion and authority that God had given them in the beginning (Genesis 1:26-28), that authority was pirated away from them in just a few violent generations. The people cried out for relief and God heard them. The giants themselves, began to have dreams of a great flood that was coming that would wipe them all out; they became very afraid. They knew their time was short.
Tomorrow we will leave the Levant and head over to Valencina de La Concepcion, near modern-day Seville, to find out HOW the coup d’etat was made complete — when the Watchers captured the world’s resources and began using them to establish THEIR kingdoms ( which still remain, btw)
