It All Begins Here

On day 3 of being in our new house, and new town, I had a very odd set of dreams. God has used dreams to guide me and make me aware of deeper or hidden things for decades- but especially since 2022. The night started with me hearing a loud screeching noise… like a rabbit or cat being attacked. At 2 am?? It sounded like it was on the roof right outside the window! Geesh! Not much fun to be woken like that on top of getting over the flu and in the throws of a major time change acclimation! After about 1 minutes of listening to this… I did what I always do… prayed against it. Flee in Jesus name! I was seriously annoyed. A few minutes later it stopped! Praise the Living God!! … Only to go to the OTHER side of the roof and start screeching a-gain! I sat up in bed and looked up what type of bird could be making this awful proclamation just outside my window… since it would be a bit far-fetched for a dying cat to be on my roof, I reasoned… A Barn owl said google. I played back the sound a few more times just to make sure… and it was SPOT ON. What the heck was a barn owl doing on my roof? I prayed again. This time with even more fervor! I was probably still in a major mood from not eating for several days..but I was not going to take this lying down.lol. If God could make animals walk 2 by 2 onto an ark, certainly He could make a loud screechy owl find someone else to annoy at 2 am!! The owl finally left and I fell back asleep. But what came next was woke me straight up from a deep sleep…could God be showing me some deep connection with what or should I say WHO the leaders of America really worship and take guidance from???

Within days of our move, Spain was having a very bad month… a MAJOR train crashed heading towards Cordoba from Madrid, leaving many dead, so many other’s injured and investigations as to how something could go SO WRONG with the train system. Week after wet dismal week, Storm Kristen, Leonardo and Marta came to visit and completely OVERSTAYED their welcome.. rain and devastating storms pummeled the entire country for a good 6 weeks, leaving so much hardship in its wake. Many major cities had flooding crisis warnings as rivers rose to unprecedented levels for the first time in decades. We were in the midst of unpacking, learning our way around and dealing with our own flooding issues…. our living room ceiling decided to open up and let us experience a bit of the rain on the inside of our house since we apparently didn't have enough going on already…RUDE! I was still a bit surprised when the Lord gave me a very vehement Word for Spain.
