At the Intersection of Seville and the Nephilim

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I have to be working on several things at the same time. And writing a blog is no different! I’ll get so excited about a topic, that I’ll have to jump up and go investigate a place where more information or inspiration can be found. Field trip anyone? Well, … as others who have been lucky enough to spend much time here in Seville know, there is almost no end to the places that either inform or inspire ( or if your’e like me, make you ask yourself what am I looking at ) ??! I am currently researching an upcoming blog post about the SEED WAR between God’s creation and the Fallen Angels ( and their progeny, the Nephilim, we read about in Old Testament ), when I took a break to visit one of Old Town Sevillas favorite’s … the very popular Casa de Pilatos. What I found there, not only validated some of my research, but made me seriously wonder how much more do we “not know”, that is literally right in front of us! The problem is not that we can’t see … it’s that the knowledge paradigm that we are in, has not prepared us for the truth. It has kept the truth from us. When we see certain things ( objects, relics or an iconic image ) — our mind goes quickly to what we have been taught in school. We immediately put that object or image in a box in our mind. “Myth” we tell ourselves when we see a larger-than-life sculpture of Hercules. Children’s storybook character or Greek fable we think when we see a Minotaur ( half man/half bull ). Our mind moves right past it … never pausing to let the real story begin to fill the empty pages and information gap. It’s precisely at one of THOSE moments that I found myself locking eyes with a large doe-eyed bull-man bust sitting in the entry patio area of the Casa, right as I turned the corner to go in. “Now THAT’S some serious bull”, I thought … “even for a country that LOVES, and I mean LOVES THE BULL.” lol

What was immediately running in the background of my mind was Genesis 6: 1-4

Now when humankind began to multiply on the face of the ground and daughters were born to them, 2 then the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were good and they took for themselves wives, any they chose. 3 Then Adonai said, “My Spirit will not remain with humankind forever, since they are flesh. So their days will be 120 years. 4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, whenever the sons of God came to the daughters of men, and gave birth to them. Those were the mighty men of old, men of renown.

Hmmm … Men of renown! You know them from many books and movies: The Titans, Hercules, Athena, Apollo, Zeus, Pan ( the goat-man ) and the Menotaur just to name a few. Myth? No way. I am convinced, my friends, that these are the Nephilim. And children of the Nephilim. I can already hear you saying, “But Maya, what in the world are Nephilim?” Let me explain. The word Nephilim is a Hebrew word mentioned several times in biblical passages, and later, in Jewish and Christian literature. It usually refers to beings of extraordinary size, stregth and status. In the Septuagint ( which is the earliest Ancient Greek translation from the Hebrew bible ) the use of the Greek term gigantes doesn’t quite capture as much as the Hebrew root word, n-p-l which is “to fall” or “those who make others fall”. Or even more fully convincing of my case, the Septuagint frames the Nephilim not just as "fallen," but as a physically formidable, violent race rebelling against the Creator God. Taking into account later Jewish writings, the definition came to be related to violence, domination and social oppression. According to the extra biblical book of 1 Enoch 7:5-6, Nephalim could also be hybrid offspring of a god and a beast ( animal ). In other words, a chimeric blend between species ( strictly forbidden by biblical standards), like the Menotaur I encountered as I entered the Casa. The one they placed there for effect, if you ask me!

But don’t take my word for it … the early christian writers who we now consider “fathers of the faith” had much to say on the subject.

Justin Martyr ( 100-165 AD ), in his writing called Second Apology, chapter 5 “ How the Angels Transgressed”, he explains that the pagan gods ( such as Jupiter and Apollo ) were not fiction. Instead, they were the actual Nephalim offspring and that the fallen angles used both magic and fear to force humanity into worshipping them. The early Christian writers Tertulian and Irenaeus of Lyons said similar, recalling both the book of Enoch, and the book of Giants.

WOW! This is huge! ( no pun intended, lol ) Now do you see the connection? These “men of renown”, these “heroes of old” who we have grown up reading about, seeing in movies, and who fill the pages of the classics throughout the ages ( and the comics of today ). These “heros” star in the tragedies, the operas, the earliest literature; these “Olympians” of history, have been battling it out with each other, and mankind throughout the annals of history and modern day entertainment! It’s actually harder to believe that mere fairy tales have been SO BELOVED that for centuries entire religions were created to honor their stories! Think about it … would thousands of colossal shrines be built really be built to honor “make believe gods”? See some of the ruins of these shrines here. And here. And here. The very first books written for mankind are the literal accounts of their epic battles and heroic conquests. Their historic tales are passed down in books like the Epic of Gilgamesh, the Illiad, the Odyssey, and poems, well, too many to count. Philosophers such as Xenophanes, Plato and Epicurus spent their entire careers critiquing the immoral and lustful behavior of the “gods”, and made a very good argument against worshipping them. It was quite well-known that these “Heros of Old” lived lives much less worthy of emmulating, let alone venerating. These little “g” gods were full of jealousy, lust, blood-thirstiness, vengeance and adultery. Why did people create an entire religious culture around honoring them, let alone teach their children to look up to them? That’s bound to have disastrous results, right? With each passing decade, we can still see our societies emulating the immorality of these so called gods, even in “christian” nations. We’ll circle back to that, but for now, let’s get back to our tour …

This particular castle, owned by the Medinaceli family of Spain ( well the Dukes of Medinaceli ) since the 1400s, is quite stunning, and it is FULL of these statues. Most of them are massive. It’s almost as if they are the inhabitants of the home. They greet you with haughty stares from every corner, they loom larger than life down every corridor. Their often naked bodies bear no shame in basking in the onlookers stares. Delicate female faces with very male bodies … ( in the case of young Dionysus ), and then the massive Athena, with her giant-sized shoulders and hands, and rather manly face. Geesh! “What am I looking at”, I thought. I brought my mother over to get her professional opinion. As a talented and classically trained sculptor … she agreed. “How very odd of them”, she piped, but then moved on, completely unperturbed by it all. Meanwhile, my head was swimming! Is this what Rome was like? It’s hard to imagine living in a world where the lines of what it means to be human are blurred SO much. Or is that the intention here? For example, check out this post on Campus Magazine from 2021 called “Gender fluidity already existed in the time of the Greek Gods”. Like I said earlier, are we supposed to be emulating these fallen nephilim beings?? Really??

In light of what our children are facing these days … with androgyny and gender-bending being shoved at them at every turn, is it really just a coincidence that these “rulers” of old were completely infatuated with mixing not only sexual norms and genders, but species? I became very curious to see what other ancient secrets these corridors of the “Ruling Class” might whisper to me next. AND I was getting a sneaking suspicion that all of this was quite “on purpose” … as you’ll soon see.

Guided through each area by the audio prompter, I took note of what the owners chose to place in each room. Now mind you, this is still the personal residence of this elite family. ( A family who claims Catholicism as their faith ). Each area is highly curated; well thought through as to how the visiter would perceive each space … This is the narrative and world view they, with all their wealth and influence, have put forth as their “brand”. ( all the millennials reading this are suddenly paying attention, haha ) The Golden Room showcases a warriors helmet, with a giant “hero” killing a bull beast, 2 grotesque grimacing “monster” faces, a giant’s forearm, Hercules’ war club alongside 2 smaller “human- sized” faces, and a large relief of huge elaborate war shields. On the political stage, they are saying, “We ARE the ruling class”. Yet, on a much more subtle level- they are telegraphing that they know something the rest of us don’t know. “MYTH” IS THE ELITE RELIGION, “MYTH” IS OUR POWER SOUCE. MYTH IS NOT JUST OUR WORLDVIEW, IT IS PART OF OUR ANCESTRY. I’ll resist the urge to play “Bill Nigh the Science Guy” for a moment, lol, and direct you to a wonderful resource here: Dr Laura Sanger’s books Generation Hoodwinked and The Roots of the Federal Reserve are two of the most well written, well researched books on these topics. 10 out of 10 recommend!

Now you may be thinking, “ Ok, well-played, I’m starting to see your point … but why does this matter? What does this mean for us today, and how does this impact my life or how I view the world?” Here’s where the rubber really meets the road.

Let’s recap the time up until Jesus appeared on the scene. God created a perfect world. He set angels to watch over it ( delegation ). His perfect world, His perfect communion between Himself and humankind, ( who were made in His image ), lacked nothing. Unfortunately, in a moment of either naivety, or weakness of pride, or both; God’s creation fell for the deception of the fallen One— who came promising knowledge like the gods. The world went from perfect to a fallen moral state, one which turned people’s hearts away from their Creator, and towards behavior that, fueled by knowledge from the Fallen, corrupted their lives, their children, and their future. In the meantime, those who were sent to watch over them, instead, envied their freedom and ability to procreate, came up with their OWN plan to create a kingdom of their own. One which defied the laws and will of the God of Creation. One which would deceive the people once again, and for as long as they are able, one in which they would be the rulers and the elites— the ones “in charge”.

We know from passages such as:

2 Corinthians 4:4: Paul calls him "the god of this world" (or god of this age), stating he has blinded the minds of unbelievers.

Ephesians 2:2: Paul refers to him as "the prince of the power of the air," meaning the ruler of the spiritual atmosphere of rebellion.

1 John 5:19: John writes that "the whole world is under the control of the evil one."

This certainly explains a lot, doesn’t it? No matter what country you grew up in, or where you now live, you can certainly see how this world is trending very rapidly, away from what is good for humanity, and towards what is “good” for only a few. When you hear terms like the “new Golden era”, understand that the Roman times, it was also called the Pax Romana, or golden era. Solomon was right after all, there is truly nothing new under the sun!

Should we be that surprised then, when we see an obvious effort to push a certain narrative? ( see image below ) Surprised? ( of course, the narrative is that this is somehow just a “natural phenomenon” that just “happens” ) Then, once we are de-sensitized enough, it should be “normalized” so everyone is “comfortable” with seeing such abominations. oy vay!! Who could be comfortable with that??? Enough Already!! What they don’t want to tell you is that the “elite” have been tranz-ing their children for thousands of years. The Bronze Age called it the “third sex” … see here. “Gender-blending” is not a modern thing. Hear me … it really is part of their religion. They hate the natural order of God’s design. I’ll write more about that in another post, but for now … Let that sink in.

So what is the answer- should we just look the other way and hope it goes away? No. Please let us learn from America’s mistakes. Rather, we need to allow it to heighten our spiritual discernment and decide what WE WILL do about it, within our sphere of influence — which is A LOT! If you are anything like me, you greatly desire a world that aligns with what pleases God, and truly benefits humanity. Don’t stay quiet about it! That is one of the saddest things we experienced in the United States. Due to spiritual apathy, and fear of man, Christians have LOST the culture war. The churches stay largely silent. They’re too afraid to “offend”, to speak the truth. And so, an entire generation has been so indoctrinated into the lies from the enemy’s playbook, that it would be pretty difficult to turn that ship around at this point. They have literally been teaching the lifestyle of the pagan gods as “normal” to our children for the past 20 years! Clearly, they are doing their level best to make sure every other country is similarly hoodwinked.

It is pretty evident that a very wicked agenda is being pushed on society. ( on so many fronts, right? ) Is this really what we want for our children? Our children’s children? That their God-given destiny, beauty and ability to have their own families will be tainted by the stain of Satan’s twisted morality … all in the name of “enlightenment”? WHAT A SHAME.

Humanity needs to wake up to the reality, that what is being pushed in these times … in the name of “love”, “acceptance” and “tolerance”, is actually just the enemy trying to get US ( ie; purebred humankind) to lose the age old war of: WHO’s seed WILL RULE THE EARTH, God’s creation or the seed of the fallen? Will it be WE who stand up to face the giants of our age and WIN with GOD by our side? Or will it be the Rulers of this world, i.e. the great deceiver, the fallen “gods” of old, ( and all who support them ), with their nephalim agenda of corruption and immorality?

Let’s take back what the enemy has stolen. Let’s decide NOT to give an INCH of compromise when it comes to what is best for our families, our neighborhoods, our towns, the innocence of our children, the education of our youth, how our elderly are treated, the land that grows our food and THE ONE TRUE GOD WE SERVE. Let’s get back to being serious about what God says in the Word which promises us LIFE and LIFE abundantly ( John 10:10 ).

    Let the whole earth sing to the Lord!

    Each day proclaim the good news that he saves.
3 Publish his glorious deeds among the nations.
    Tell everyone about the amazing things he does.

It’s time we wake up my friends, we can all see that this is NOT business as usual. The price we will pay for ignoring the signs and sticking our heads in the sand, is far too great a price to pay. Ignorance is not bliss, it is foolish. It’s time we take back what the enemy has stolen. Our common sense, our moral integrity, our children’s futures and the honor that ONLY the One True God deserves.
